Student Wellbeing

We focus on the thing that matters most – your child’s welfare. Young people flourish when they are treated with care, kindness and respect. We take the time to nurture positive mental health and good physical health, as well as the social wellbeing of each young person in our care.

Care is one of our core values and central to our supportive learning environment. As well as a Head of Pastoral, all teachers take responsibility through the tutor group and Personal Social Health and Emotional (PSHE) programmes. All students are assigned to a House, each of which has a House captain. The schools and year groups mix together, with older pupils acting as buddies for the younger children.

Learning

Every moment is focused on supporting our students to grow and get better. Students thrive with our impressive learning facilities and innovative teaching methods.

Differentiated teaching and learning ensures that each child is supported to be their best. With specialist learning support available to ensure every child can access the full curriculum.

All of our teachers, no matter how many years experience, are on a continuous professional development pathway so our students benefit from the most up to date learning methods.

Creative and Performing Arts

We embrace each students unique creativity, curiosity and ambition with a vibrant and progressive curriculum that is rich in art, music and drama.

Students are actively encouraged to showcase their talents and confidence in a variety of forums, including the annual stage performances, which have included Mamma Mia, Oliver and Fame.

A key benefit of our creative arts programme is the opportunity to develop self-confidence and self-expression, which are transferable life-skills that will help prepare your child for future careers.

Teacher discussing with students

“A successful future is more than academic ability. Emotional intelligence, the ability to empathise with others and the creativity to work in an ever-changing workplace, will soon be among the most sought-after job skills.”

Co-curricular Activities

Life is more than exams, at Matrix Global Schools you’ll find a whole host of transformational co-curricular activities that unlock even more opportunities and stretch students beyond what they are taught in the classroom. Students challenge themselves in little chef kitchens, technology labs and art studios.

Beyond the curriculum, students can gain confidence and experience by joining the Student Council or Prefectorial Board. There’s countless opportunities to contribute to and learn from local and global communities through volunteering.

We’ll push each student further with unparalleled opportunities to develop inspiration and new perspectives.

Boarding

Nestled in our magnificent 20-acre campus grounds, our boarding house offers a home-from-home approach for secondary students. Whether you choose it as a day school or take advantage of the full or weekly boarding options, this is a calm and homely setting where your child will flourish.

We’ve set out to reinvent what it means to board in Asia. Step inside our purpose-built boarding house and you’ll discover a very homely experience, with an opportunity to interact with lots of different families.
