A LEVELS SCHOLARSHIPS AY24/25 – AY25 / 26

Adcote Matrix International School Malaysia (AMIS) is offering scholarships to students entering Year 12 in August 2025. The Scholarship Programme aims to enable deserving students to benefit from our unique holistic education, regardless of financial means.

The Scholarships

Principal Special Scholarship:

Scholarship Coverage: 100% of tuition fee.

Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, as evidenced by straight A grades in IGCSE mock or predicted results, or equivalent qualifications. They must have made outstanding contributions to non-academic pursuits, encompassing areas such as music, art, drama, sports, and/or community engagement. Applicants should possess good character, a history of contributing to service initiatives, and a record of assuming leadership roles in their schools.

New Student Scholarship Programme:

New Student Scholarship Programme:

  • First-Prize Scholarship: 50% of tuition fee.
  • Second-Prize Scholarship: 30% of tuition fee.
  • Third-Prize Scholarship: 10% of tuition fee.

Applicants must demonstrate academic strength, as evidenced by no grades lower than a B in IGCSE mock or predicted results, or equivalent qualifications. For all the awards, applicants must possess good character, a history of contributing to service initiatives,
and a record of assuming leadership roles in the school.

Important Timeline:

  • Applications closing: Friday, 24th January 2025.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be notified by: Friday, 14th February 2025.
  • Shortlisted applicants will attend a test and interview: Between 17th to 28th February 2025.
  • Applicants can expect to know the results by: Friday, 7th March 2025.

Application Checklist:

  1. Fully completed Application Form signed by the applicant and parent/guardian
  2. Personal Statement (not exceeding 300 words)*
  3. Additional supporting documents, if available**
  4. Copies of school transcripts for the past 2 years
  5. IGCSE mock or predicted results, or equivalent qualifications
  6. One recent passport sized photograph – attached to the Application Form in the space provided
  7. Please attach scanned copies of applicant’s NRIC/Passport
  8. Letter of recommendation from the Principal of applicant’s current school
  9. Family financial details (Income tax filing receipt)(optional)

Personal Statement

Applicants are required to provide a personal statement of no more than 300 words, outlining their motivations for applying for the A Levels scholarships, academic achievements, extracurricular activities, career aspirations, and personal attributes. This statement serves as an opportunity for applicants to demonstrate their suitability for the scholarships and commitment to academic excellence.

Additional Supporting Material (Optional)

Applicants may submit any information or testimonials that highlight their achievements over the past 2 years, which the applicants believe will support the application. These documents are to be submitted as 1 PDF document and email it with the application.
