Boarding – Enjoying the fruits of their labour

For months, the boarders assisted by their BH Parent has put in great effort into their vegetable garden around the BH compound. As the soil in MGS is mostly infertile, the team has had to mix them with planting soil and some amount of fertilisers to make it more suitable for gardening. They have tended to their vegetable garden diligently until the mustard greens are now big enough to be harvested.

The boarders are very happy and proud to go around the school to sell the vegetables. And the staff and community are supportive by buying their produce. Money collected from the sales is planned to be used for BH activities such as birthday celebrations and other internal events.
