From Sendayan to Seville – Tia’s Football Experience in Spain

Recently I took a trip to Spain to better my football skills. I am so glad to have the opportunity to be able to travel to Spain and gain professional feedback to be able to bring back new knowledge for my personal improvement. 

In Spain, I trained with a professional academy, called MV8 Football Academy. In this time I have definitely learned more than I have back here in Malaysia and I’d like to believe whatever I have learnt will take me further than where I am now. However, personally, 10 days were not enough to see drastic changes in the way I play. I will continue to work hard and use this opportunity I was given to the fullest. It was also amazing to experience how different cultures approach football. I have witnessed much talent from those who are so young, it’s unbelievable. 

At such a young age, kids already have deep knowledge about tactics and basic skills which they have already mastered. Overall, this was a great adventure to be a part of and I really hope I will get another chance to go overseas and learn more about football.
