Another five students scored 8As, and this made history for MGS for having the biggest group of top scoring students in the SPM examination so far.

On the side note, its student Muhammad Haidel Bin Mohd Hazer who scored 9As dedicated his achievement to his late father who incidentally passed away on the first day of his SPM examination last year.

“It was through sheer determination and will power to prove to my late Dad that I can achieve much and not to worry about me as I will chart my own path in the future. This result is the only gift that I can give him and I promise that I will continue to do well and take care of my mother as well,” Muhammad Haidel said upon receiving his result papers.

Muhammad Haidel mentioned that it was the support and encouragement of his teachers and counsellors in MGS which also helped him during the said period and to focus on his examinations last year.

Matrix Global Schools achieved a 100% passing rate in last year Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia for almost all the subjects taken by its students especially in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science, Add Maths, Art, Islamic Studies and Moral.

More than half of its students scored a distinction for the SPM English paper.

MGS Campus Principal Mr Loh Ghee Juan congratulated the students and staff, stating that it has been a most noteworthy journey for each and every one in MGS as the outstanding SPM results were the fruits of its academic labour.
