MPS 2019 Awards Day & Graduation Ceremony

It’s a time for celebrations for the students from our Private National School as it was not only their last day of school but also a day to reward them for their achievements in 2019. Waiting eagerly were our Form 5 students who were all dressed up in their graduation gowns and mortar boards waiting for their names to be called before they took their seats.

The ceremony began with the presentation of awards to our primary students for their achievements; from the most improved student to those who achieved excellent results in their assessments. Everyone present was then treated to an inspirational performance from our very own students in the school band who did a rendition of Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the Mirror’, sending a message to everyone present that it is only You who can make that change. 

The climax of the event was of course the presentation of certificates to the graduating Form 5s of 2019 following the conclusion to their SPM examinations. A total of 60 of our students received their certificates from the Head of Matrix Private School, Datin Norlela Meon. Confetti filled the stage at the conclusion of the ceremony as students grabbed as many photos as they could with fellow friends and their families.
