Rocking out the MABA Stadium

Our very own school band, the Crimson Cadence brought the roof down with their performances at the opening ceremony of the 61st Agong Cup National Basketball Championship. The band ‘tipped-off’ their opening performance by leading out the competing state teams with the two songs they played.

This was then followed by a ‘Dikir Barat’ performance, a musical form native to Peninsular Malaysia, typically performed by groups of ten to fifteen members which brought a local touch to their performance.

Finishing off their performance strong with the hit song by local indie band, Bunkface, the Crimson Cadence performed ‘Malam ini Kita Punya’, engaging the audience like seasoned performers.
